      • All exhibitors must be fully paid before displaying. The instalments are usually 50% on receipt of the invoice and then, depending on when you applied, a second 50% within 7-10 days. You can also pay by card in one instalment.
      • Please see the terms and conditions at the bottom of the application. If the event is cancelled for any reason, there is a refund. You can also transfer to any future show.

      • No. It is free. You will need to send a guest list closer to the event as all guests must be on the official guest list for entry.
      • We take nothing from your sales. What you make, you keep. That's how it should be.
      • Please send two images. They must be j-pegs. They don’t need to be full-size. Under 1MB is best for quicker viewing. We will also look at your website or Instagram. Please send your images to: manager@parallaxaf.net.

      • You do not need a visa if you are from certain countries. Check your country.

        Make sure you also get an ESTA before flying: Get Esta.

        What if I need a visa? You will need to apply to the embassy in your respective country.

        There are two taxes if you import art work. Duty and import sales tax. There is no duty on contemporary handmade art. Check here..

        You may have to pay import sales tax on any art you bring into the USA, though this is not normally charged automatically at the border.

        If the total value of your work is over $2500 you will need to use a customs broker to make an import declaration (ACE manifest) for you.

        In general, as for our UK shows, we suggest you put together an inventory. Use this example below and change it to dollars. Do not include mention of VAT.

      • We don't have shipping or technician service. However, you could ship to a friend in LA and ask them to hang the work for you. You could also ship to one of these private technicians below in LA and get them to hang your work for you:

      • If you are based in the US or you have a US-registered company then, yes. It just looks more professional for you. You can easily set up payments using something like Square on your phone. If you are not based in the US, then you must use the payment desk and concierge team at the fair to process your sales because of tax regulations. Sales tax in LA is 9.5%.
      • If you use the payment desk, payments will be made by bank transfer in the US. For all other countries, payments will be made by Paypal. Payments are usually made in 4 days.
      • Yes, there is a wrapping service at the fair.
      • We take no commission from your sales. What you make, you keep.
      • Yes, you price your own works. All exhibitors are sent an Exhibitor's Handbook and there are lots of tips. Please also watch the video interviews with previous exhibitors because they also give a lot of tips from experience.
      • Package your work so that it can be opened quickly without fuss and installed. We recommend that you take away your excess packaging (bubble wrap, cardboard boxes, crates etc.) with you. However, if you must store excess packaging on site, please ensure that is packed together neatly with your name clearly on the packaging. You can then hand this to the onsite pack storage. They will give you a ticket. Do not lose this ticket as you will need it to re-claim your packaging on the de-installation day. Please note we will not store bags, toolboxes, coats, or personal items. These must be taken away.

Please select two images carefully. They do not need to be finished works or products that you will exhibit. They only need to give us an idea of the kind of work that you might exhibit. If you do not supply images, we will view your website instead.

All work must be original and by the exhibitor. You can exhibit digital prints.
2.
Exhibitors cannot sublet their space or any part of it to another party without prior permission.
3.
We require a 50% deposit to hold your space. The remaining 50% is to be paid within 7-10 days. Occasionally, the second 50% can be spread over a longer period depending on the date of the fair. We do not make refunds as the rental is for a specific date.
4.
If the event is cancelled we will return your payment in full but cannot be held liable for any additional expenses incurred.
5.
You are responsible for your own insurance (damage, theft) of your work and public liability (third party). Your insurance must include “PAF DL INC. (employees, staff, officers, directors and contractors)”. The majority of exhibitors do not have insurance due to cost, especially if they are bringing and hanging their own work, so you can send a waiver letter instead.
6.
Work does not need to be for sale.

People under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
