Visitors LA Press Release

Ever wondered why you have to pay entrance fees for art fairs? Fed up with having to pay extra commission on top of fine or decorative art you love? Want to help local artists and makers? Well wonder no more because PAF LA OPEN is coming. With fifteen editions behind them in London, a show that now attracts 16,000 visitors with over 6000 products in every fine, decorative and functional art category, they will now be opening a smaller branch fair in Venice CA, at Venice Arts on Lincoln Boulevard, the weekend of 30th April and 1st May. As in London, all the exhibitors are independent artists and craft makers selling their work directly to visitors, including Beka Brayer, a Californian artist who makes extraordinarily unusual constructions (see image left). As well as fine art, visitors can also browse exquisite pieces of ceramic, photography, and household goods and applied arts all at wholesale price. There is no extra commission on top of prices. All the exhibitors are self-representing, so buying directly from them supports the arts and craft industries. Prices range from $30 up to $15,000, so there is a price for everyone. The fair also includes a coffee bar on Saturday. J B and the Showmance Band will also be playing throughout this family-friendly event. Free fast-entry tickets can be downloaded from the website for the opening days.
